Former Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole believes Manchester United should part ways with Lisandro Martinez after his horror show in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge.
The Red Devils saw their winless streak extend to nine matches after a 2-0 loss in west London. They were by far the better side in the opening half where they squandered plenty of big chances.
The second half was all about the dominance of the Blues. Morgan Rogers broke the deadlock before Cole Palmer made it 2-0 from the penalty spot for Xabi Alonso's side.
Martinez had a forgettable second half with two yellow card offences in just four minutes. Speaking after the game, Cole was not pleased with the Argentine's display.
He said: "So I think that’s probably his time done. This is unfathomable. He loses his rag. I think he has been muscled in the corner and he has found himself out of position and lost his rag. It’s a massive mistake."
