Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly interested in signing Schalke hitman and previous target Klaas Jan Huntelaar.
A report in Metro claims that the striker has reappeared on Ferguson's radar as Dimitar Berbatov looks set to leave the club.
Huntelaar has been in hot form recently, scoring a phenomenal 16 goals in 18 games this season and Ferguson believes that such a natural finisher will aid his squad in their title push.
Huntelaar has only 18 months left on his contract and Schalke will look to extend his contract soon rather than lose him for a paltry sum.
