Chelsea could make Kaka offer

24 November 2011 - 08:04

Chelsea could be surprise contenders for the signature of coveted Brazilian international attacker Kaka once the January transfer window has reopened. Real Madrid have reportedly put the former AC Milan player on the market, prompting Andre Villas-Boas to sound out a potential move for his signature.

 • Man Utd without four players for Bournemouth clash
 • Liam Rosenior on Enzo Fernandez's Chelsea future
 • Kaka has struggled for first team football and to return to form since arriving at Real Madrid from AC Milan, and recent reports from Spain had linked the Brazilian with a return to Italy.
However, Chelsea's recent disappointing slump in form have prompted Portuguese boss Andre Villas-Boas to contemplate a move for the Brazilian.
A price tag of 30m GBP has been suggested, and Roman Abramovich is seriously considering a move for the former World Player of the Year.
