West Brom close in on Tim Ream move

West Brom close in on Tim Ream move

25 November 2011 - 03:55

West Bromwich Albion are the latest club to have offered a trial to New York Red Bulls centre back Tim Ream, and the player will link up with the English side for an extensive period on the 1st of December.

  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip
  • Mikel Arteta confirms big injury boost for Spurs clash

  • Arsenal, Wigan and Norwich have all expressed some interest in the 6 foot 1 centre back; but WBA are believed to be the favorites to secure Ream's signature.

The USA international already has 7 caps to his name, and so there should be no problem securing a work permit as the 24-year-old is expected to feature regularly for Jurgen Klinsmann's side over the coming years.

New York Red Bulls value Ream at approximately 1.5m GBP.
