Rasmus Elm linked with Man Utd move

28 November 2011 - 07:19

Manchester United have sent scouts to watch AZ Alkmaar midfielder Rasmus Elm. The 23 year old Swede has enjoyed three successful seasons in the Eredivisie with AZ, and now could make a sensational move to United.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • Since joining AZ from Kalmar back in 2009, Elm has forced his way into the first team and is now a firm fan favorite at the AFAS Stadion; where fans have praised the talented young Swede for his creativity and passing abilities.
United are reportedly on the look out for another midfielder after losing Anderson to injury last week, and have yet to replace Paul Scholes who retired last year.
Elm could be the preferred replacement, and would be allowed to leave AZ for around 6.2m GBP.
