Germany international striker Lukas Podolski appeared happy to have been linked with a transfer switch to Arsenal. This week, the Gunners reportedly made an enquiry to FC Koln regarding Podolski.
"Arsenal are a top club. They have a good team and play right at the top level in England," said Podolski, when asked about Arsenal's interest.<br />
Podolski wants to leave Cologne as he started to show frustration due to lack of development and progress in the Bundesliga so far this year.<br />
Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund continue to dominate the German league, and Podolski wants his side to challenge for honours.
