Porto midfielder Fernando Reges has been linked with a move to Anfield as cover for the injured Brazilian Lucas, who will be on the sidelines for the remainder of the season. Liverpool are reportedly set to make a 15m GBP offer for the defensive midfielder.
The Brazilian, ironically, is a friend of Liverpool man Lucas, and has recommended the Premier League to Fernando.
Since joining Porto in 2007, the 24 year old has enjoyed both European and domestic success and Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is also a huge fan of Reges' talents.
Reges currently has only 18 months left on his current Porto deal.
