Liverpool weigh up Fernando Reges offer

Porto midfielder Fernando Reges has been linked with a move to Anfield as cover for the injured Brazilian Lucas, who will be on the sidelines for the remainder of the season. Liverpool are reportedly set to make a 15m GBP offer for the defensive midfielder.

The Brazilian, ironically, is a friend of Liverpool man Lucas, and has recommended the Premier League to Fernando.<br />

Since joining Porto in 2007, the 24 year old has enjoyed both European and domestic success and Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is also a huge fan of Reges' talents.<br />

Reges currently has only 18 months left on his current Porto deal.
