Spurs target Cristian Rodriguez eyes exit door

14 December 2011 - 11:13

Porto winger Cristian Rodriguez has put himself in the shop window, after admitting that he will be looking to quit Portugal in January, in hope of securing a move elsewhere in Europe.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • The pacey winger is famous for his long range shooting and set piece abilities, but so far these talents have failed to secure a place for him in Porto's first team, after falling out with the head coach.
"It is true that there have been some interesting offers from Europe," Rodriguez told El Pais. "Russia, Turkey, Greece and Germany are being reported as possible destinations, but I would prefer Italy, Spain or England.
"We will see what happens. The fact that I now have a EU passport can open many doors. I would never reject a return to Penarol."
