Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer is expected to be out of action for over a month after the shot stopper sustained a neck injury against Swansea last weekend.
The Cottagers' keeper will be missing for up to six weeks and missed Fulham's surprise 2-2 draw with Odense last night, that saw his club crash out of the Europa League.
"During the match against Swansea on Saturday 10 December, goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer injured his neck," read a statement on the Fulham official homepage.
"Following an assessment by a specialist consultant on Tuesday evening, the Club can confirm that he has sustained a compression injury to his thoracic spine and that he will be unavailable for four to six weeks, and is expected to return to play towards the end of January."
