Manchester United have no desire to re-sign Sofyan Amrabat following his season-long loan deal from Fiorentina.
The Moroccan joined the Red Devils on a temporary basis from Fiorentina last summer. He rejected several offers to join them on deadline day.
Amrabat had a poor first half to the season as he struggled to cope with the demands of the Premier League. He was dropped to the bench in early 2024.
However, he managed to make amends in the final month of the campaign where he stood out against Arsenal, Newcastle and Manchester City.
Amrabat completed 93 per cent of his passes in the FA Cup final. His composure on the ball was a highlight of his overall performance.
United currently have the option to buy Amrabat for €20m but Corriere dello Sport claim that the club have no intention of triggering the clause.
There has been no phone call to Fiorentina and the Serie A outfit are expecting Amrabat to report for pre-season with them next month.
