Tottenham have reportedly agreed the transfer of Swedish midfielder Rasmus Elm, according to the major national sports paper in Sweden, Expressen. A fee of 6.6m GBP has been agreed with Elm's club, AZ Alkmaar.
The Swedish international midfielder had been linked with a move to Manchester United, but it appears that Tottenham have won the race for his coveted signature and have agreed a fee with AZ already.<br />
Spurs were expected to be looking for a striker in the January transfer window, but Harry Redknapp has reportedly decided to focus more on his already rich strength in midfield, and Elm will arrive in January for talks.
