Bolton manager Owen Coyle has confirmed that talks are underway with Chelsea regarding the transfer of Gary Cahill. The centre back will be out of contract at the Reebok Stadium in July.
Chelsea have reportedly offered 7m GBP for the centre back, who is being lined up as a replacement for Brazilian defender Alex, who is expected to leave Stamford Bridge for more regular first team football.<br />
<span>“Regarding Gary Cahill, there has been dialogue between ourselves and Chelsea. He is a top player and is fully focused on Bolton,” Coyle revealed.</span><br />
<span>Cahill is expected to move to Chelsea at some point in mid-January.</span>
