Chelsea wants Cavani

Chelsea wants Cavani

27 December 2011 - 06:44

The Napoli goal poacher is being watched by Andre Vilas-Boas. The Portugese manager believes Cavani could end the goal drought for Chelsea.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Cavani has been in great form this season scoring 9 goals in 14 matches. The tall Uruguay striker also had 48 attempts on goal so far.

Chelsea has not been able to score as many goals as they might have wanted this season. The huge money signing, Torres, has not been in good form this season and with Nicolas Anelka leaving the club, Vilas-Boas needs to bolster his striking options.

The 24-year old Cavani is a tall, physically strong striker who has an eye for the goal.
