Freiburg striker Papiss Cisse has been linked with a £14m move away from the Bundesliga, with Tottenham the preferred destination.

Cisse had also been linked with a move to Newcastle in recent months but Tottenham have marched to the front of the queue for the 26 year old.<br />

Spurs are the player's preferred choice and the London side will make an official offer in January.
