Italian international striker Alberto Gilardino has finally completed a move from Fiorentina to Genoa, in a deal worth around 7.25m GBP. The former AC Milan move has penned a three year contract with the Serie A side.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The 29-year-old will link up with his new team mates after the winter break.

Fiorentina's official website read: ''Fiorentina announces that it has sold striker Alberto Gilardino to Genoa.

''The company would like to thank Alberto for the time he has spent with us and the pleasure he gave the fans. The club wishes him every success for the rest of his career.'
