Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has named his starting line-up for the Carabao Cup fourth-round tie against Liverpool on the road tonight.
The Blues suffered a shock 2-0 Premier League loss to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend and will be keen to make amends at Anfield.
Ahead of the game, Alonso has made multiple changes to the XI.
Mike Penders continues as the goalkeeper in the absence of Emiliano Martinez. The Belgian made a high-profile error against Spurs and will be keen to redeem himself.
Alonso has gone with a back four tonight. Josh Acheampong and Malo Gusto start at right-back and left-back, respectively. Wesley Fofana partners Maxence Lacroix in central defence.
In midfield, it's a trio of Moises Caicedo, Jordan Henderson and Romeo Lavia. Pedro Neto plays as a right winger tonight, with Morgan Rogers on the opposite end. Danny Welbeck leads the line.
Confirmed Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Liverpool: Penders; Acheampong, Fofana, Lacroix, Gusto; Caicedo, Henderson, Lavia; Neto, Welbeck, Rogers.
