Wolfsburg sign Vieirinha

Wolfsburg sign Vieirinha

04 January 2012 - 21:40

Wolfsburg have finally completed a move for Portuguese winger Vieirinha. The player helped PAOK Salonika dump Tottenham out of the Europa League this season already, and is one of the top assistants in European football so far this year.

  • Chelsea want Pep Chavarria as Marc Cucurella replacement
  • Chelsea make opening bid to sign Granit Xhaka
  • The 25 year old has completed a 3.8m GBP move to the German side, and is expected to be an important member of the first team after agreeing a three year contract with the Bundesliga side.

Vieirinha is desperate to force his way into the Portugal international setup, and hopes that a move to Wolfsburg will assist.

Several Premier League clubs - including Blackburn - were believed to be interested in Vieirinha.
