Bolton close in on Tim Ream deal

Bolton close in on Tim Ream deal

07 January 2012 - 17:14

Bolton have reportedly agreed a 2.5m GBP fee with New York Red Bulls for their star centre back Tim Ream. The USA international is expected to replace Gary Cahill at the Reebok Stadium, and a deal should be completed next week.

  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • Gary Cahill is expected to move south to join Chelsea in the coming two weeks, as a fee is close to being agreed between both clubs and personal terms with the player.

Bolton manager Owen Coyle will immedately replace Cahill with burly centre back Tim Ream. The defender has represented the US national team 7 times, and should have no problem securing a work permit.
