07 January 2012 - 17:14

Bolton have reportedly agreed a 2.5m GBP fee with New York Red Bulls for their star centre back Tim Ream. The USA international is expected to replace Gary Cahill at the Reebok Stadium, and a deal should be completed next week.

  • Gary Cahill is expected to move south to join Chelsea in the coming two weeks, as a fee is close to being agreed between both clubs and personal terms with the player.<br />

Bolton manager Owen Coyle will immedately replace Cahill with burly centre back Tim Ream. The defender has represented the US national team 7 times, and should have no problem securing a work permit.
