08 January 2012 - 06:52

Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock wants to bring five new players to Loftus Road to ensure Premier League survival. Rangers have already had an offer rejected for Blackburn defender Christopher Samba.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Premier League newcomers have been linked with a host of big names since the transfer window, with Florent Malouda, Alex and Allan McGregor all on Warnock's shortlist.

Warnock is expected to be busy over the coming three weeks securing the signatures of new signings, and admitted he needs five players to guarantee top flight survival: “We do need three, four or five players, really. Tony [Fernandes], Amit [Bhatia] and the rest of the of the owners have been aware for the last five, six or seven weeks where I feel we’ve got to strengthen for the second-half of the season to stay up and they’re supporting me."
