Goetze keen on Dortmund stay

10 January 2012 - 05:46

Highly rated midfielder Mario Goetze wants to stay at Borussia Dortmund, despite reports linking the Germany international with a move to the Premier League or La Liga. Real Madrid are believed to be in pole position for the German's signature.

  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip
  • Gabriel Magalhaes to sign new Arsenal deal

  • Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is believed to be a huge fan of the creative midfielder, who has taken the Bundesliga by storm in recent months.

"Of course I can imagine extending my contact at Dortmund,'' Goetze revealed.

"I have always said how at home I feel here. And nothing has happened to change that. I have my family and friends here. And the whole Borussia Dortmund package with the coach and the team is simply outstanding.''
