Liverpool warned off Keisuke Honda move

CSKA Moscow have warned Liverpool off of making a move for Japanese midfielder Keisuke Honda. The 25 year old had been linked with a move to Anfield in the January transfer window, as reported by several Russian reports.

  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • "The boy is focused in making a full recovery from his injury. I can assure you that he will be here with us. It is not in our plans to sell him at this stage," said CSKA trainer Leonid Slutsky.

Keisuke Honda had reportedly been on the verge of a move to Arsenal last summer, but that deal was scuppered at the last minute due to CSKA Moscow's huge asking price for the talented midfielder.

It is understood that Kenny Dalglish will make an offer in the January transfer window though, with a bid of around 15m GBP being considered.
