Liverpool warned off Keisuke Honda move

CSKA Moscow have warned Liverpool off of making a move for Japanese midfielder Keisuke Honda. The 25 year old had been linked with a move to Anfield in the January transfer window, as reported by several Russian reports.

  • <span>"The boy is focused in making a full recovery from his injury. I can assure you that he will be here with us. It is not in our plans to sell him at this stage," said CSKA trainer Leonid Slutsky.</span><br />

    <span>Keisuke Honda had reportedly been on the verge of a move to Arsenal last summer, but that deal was scuppered at the last minute due to CSKA Moscow's huge asking price for the talented midfielder.</span><br />

    <span>It is understood that Kenny Dalglish will make an offer in the January transfer window though, with a bid of around 15m GBP being considered.</span>
