There has been some progress in Chelsea's pursuit of Bolton defender Gary Cahill today, as last night both clubs reportedly agreed a fee for the England international centre back, believed to be in the region of 7.75m GBP with a further 1m GBP should Chelsea win the Premier League by 2013.
Gary Cahill's on/off transfer away from Bolton will finally draw to a close, as the Trotters will part company with the England centre half, and look set to replace him with American defender Tim Ream.
Andre Villas-Boas expects to complete a move for Cahill within the next 48 hours.
