Chelsea and Belgium youth international goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois could stay at Atletico Madrid for another season, despite talk of a Stamford Bridge return next year.

Courtois has been signed in on loan at Atletico Madrid as a replacement for David de Gea, and has impressed many in Spain already.



Courtois said: "I love Madrid and I like Atletico Madrid, its a very good club where I have many friends.



"To play here for a second year would be good for me."
