Injury-plagued midfielder Kieron Dyer has targeted a return to the West Ham first-team before the end of the season. Dyer has been sidelined with a double leg break.
"I never doubted that I would be able to recover," Dyer told Sky Sports News.
"There have been a couple of players who have had a double break of the leg and they made a full recovery.
"It's quite a simple operation and the operation went well. I'm just playing it by ear now and taking it day by day.
"I'm starting to pick-up the rehab now and fingers crossed I will feature before the season is up."
