Samba hoping for Blackburn exit

Samba hoping for Blackburn exit

13 January 2012 - 08:40

Christopher Samba is planning to quit Blackburn at the next available opportunity, as he becomes increasingly frustrated with life at the Premier League strugglers. Samba has been linked with moves to PSG, Arsenal and QPR in recent weeks.

  • Chelsea urged to sign Man City star on free transfer
  • Chelsea squad want Xabi Alonso as manager
  • "Things have not happened as I was told they would," said Samba. "The club is not improving at all.<br />

"I've tried to maintain my performance level but I feel it's time to change. I hope people will understand me.''<br />

His comments are sure to spark a flurry of offers from Europe's biggest clubs, a number of whom have expressed some interest in the burly Congolese defender. A figure of around 8m GBP has been suggested.
