Aston Villa demand big money for Bent

18 January 2012 - 07:15

Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has demanded big money before he would even consider selling striker Darren Bent to Liverpool. The Reds have been linked with a transfer for the former Sunderland forward.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • McLeish admitted that he would consider selling Bent if the right offer was received, but it would probably have to match the 24 million GBP that the Villains paid for Bent.
"Am I wanting to do (transfer) business? I am not pushing. I am not in any hurry to lose any of my players," said McLeish.
"Only if it was an attractive proposition would we do anything so it's very unlikely we would let any of our players go."
