Queens Park Rangers have agreed a fee with Manchester City for defender Nedum Onuoha, and have begun contract discussions with the former England under-21 defender today.
Mark Hughes looks set to finally unveil the first defensive transfer since he took charge of the club last week, and is expected to later complete a move for Taye Taiwo and is still hopeful of securing a move for Chelsea and Brazil international defender Alex.<br />
The 25-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Etihad Stadium and had been told that he can leave City last summer, but a deal could not be agreed in time before the end of the transfer window. <br />
Sunderland were also rumoured to have made a last minute bid for Onuoha, but QPR have won the race for his coveted signature.
