Norwich City to sign Jonny Howson

Norwich City are on the verge of completing a move for Leeds United midfielder Jonny Howson. The 23-year-old highly rated centre midfielder will complete a 1.5m GBP move to Suffolk this weekend.

Paul Lambert admitted that talks are ongoing, but it appears the Canaries are confident that a deal can be completed this week.<br />

"Hopefully everything goes well with the medical," Norwich boss Paul Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk.<br />

"But you can never be sure until it's actually done.<br />

"We've known about him for a few years now having played against Leeds a few times. He's got great enthusiasm for the game and is a really good footballer and a goal threat."
