Diniyar Bilyaletdinov set for Russia return

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov set for Russia return

24 January 2012 - 00:42

Everton's Russian winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is on the verge of a 5 million move back to his homeland, with Spartak Moscow set to complete a move for the former Lokomotiv player in the next 48 hours.

  • Chelsea urged to sign Man City star on free transfer
  • Chelsea squad want Xabi Alonso as manager
  • Bilyaletdinov has struggled since completing a move to Everton in 2009, and has never fully established himself in the first team. The sale of the Russian will provide much needed cash for Everton manager David Moyes, who is currently looking to add another midfielder to his squad before the end of the transfer window.<br />

The 5 million sale will represent a massive loss for the Toffees, who paid 10 million for Diniyar in 2009. A statement on Spartak's website read:  "The contract will be signed after the medical examination."
