Tim Ream completes Bolton deal

Bolton have completed the signing of American international defender Tim Ream, after they successfully appealed for a work permit for the player. Ream joins Bolton for around 2.4 million GBP from MLS side New York Red Bulls.

  • Bolton completed the transfer on Thursday and the player put pen to paper on a three and a half year contract at the Reebok Stadium.<br />

    Ream cancelled his honeymoon as he completed a move to Bolton, and will link up with his new team mates next week. Ream played over 58 times in the MLS for the Red Bulls.<br />

    Tim Ream has been brought in to replace Gary Cahill, who left for Chelsea earlier in the month.
