West Bromwich Albion have ruled themselves out of a move for Russian international forward Pavel Pogrebnyak. The striker had been linked with a transfer from VfB Stuttgart to WBA in a deal worth approximately $4.25 million.
However, manager Roy Hodgson ruled out a move for the striker, instead insisting he has plans to look for players elsewhere.
Hodgson said: "There will be no moves for Pavel Pogrebnyak."
Italian side Roma have reportedly been tracking the Russian and are now favorites to land the player on loan.
