QPR turn to French striker Djibril Cisse

30 January 2012 - 08:28

Queens Park Rangers are set to turn to French international striker Djibril Cisse, as Mark Hughes looks to the continent to find a forward to turn around QPR's ailing fortunes this season.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • Djibril Cisse is currently at Lazio, but has been told by the Italian club that he will be allowed to leave Rome this month if an offer is received.

QPR have been very busy contacting a host of clubs as they look to sign players on short term loan deals; and Cisse is the newest player to have been approached yesterday.

Cisse has been with Lazio for only a few months, but so far the player has struggled to find the scoresheet alongside new strike partner Miroslav Klose. The Frenchman will be available for a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
