Queens Park Rangers secure Zamora transfer

01 February 2012 - 07:06

QPR have successfully completed a move for 31-year-old striker Bobby Zamora yesterday night. The player has signed a three year contract with the R's, and will link up with his new team mates for the first time today.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • "We needed a player of his ilk at the football club and I couldn't be more delighted, he's a great foil for any team," said QPR boss Mark Hughes.

"Bobby is a guy that makes things happen on the pitch, be it scoring goals or creating chances for others.

"He's got great power and pace and his technical ability is top class. He's got an excellent left foot."
