Stoke City striker Crouch awaits England call

16 February 2012 - 06:23

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch is hopeful that he has a chance of a recall for Euro 2012 this summer. Peter Crouch has not played for England since November 2010, but hopes regular first team football for the Potters will help him in his quest for a return to the international stage.

  • Chelsea showing serious interest in 23yo England star
  • Chelsea & Liverpool serious about signing Roma star
  • Crouch joined Stoke City from Tottenham for 10 million GBP last summer, and has impressed since his arrival at the Brittannia Stadium.<br />

"I've not been in the last few squads," Crouch said. "Whoever takes over hopefully will start picking me again but it's only what you do for your club that warrants getting in the England set-up again so I've got to play well for Stoke, score goals and hopefully that will come."
