Man City boss Mancini denies Tevez 'dog' treatment

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has denied treating Carlos Tevez like a dog. The Argentine international has not played for the Citizens since that ill fated game in the Champions League against Bayern Munich last year, but has since returned to England this week.

Tevez sensationally claimed that Roberto Mancini has treated Tevez like a dog, but Italian manager Mancini has denied the accusations.<br />

"I don't want to answer your question because the game is more important than this," Mancini said. "But I answer this question and then no more, because we have this game.<br />

"It is an important game against a top club like Porto. I totally disagree with Carlos, what he said, because I never treated him badly. Maybe the opposite, I treated him too well, always."
