Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has been considering a move for Blackburn Rovers defender Scott Dann, the defender who reportedly remains unhappy with life at Ewood Park.
Dann's former manager, McLeish, wants to bring the defender to Villa Park as he struggles to push 15th placed Aston Villa up the league table.
Villa are on the look out for a new defender as James Collins continues to stall over a new contract, whilst injury concerns doubt the long term future of veteran defender Richard Dunne.
