Arsenal preparing move to sign 20yo French striker

Arsenal are preparing a big-money move for Bournemouth striker Junior Kroupi when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.

  • Man Utd duo miss training ahead of Roma game

  • The Gunners had their sights on the young Frenchman last summer, but a deal did not materialise after he picked up a foot fracture in pre-season.

Kroupi only recently made his return to the playing field. He showed his class against Leeds United, providing the assist for the second goal scored.

The Mirror now claim that the Gunners are lining up a move for the 20-year-old, who netted 13 Premier League goals as a teenager last season.

He is primarily a number nine but can play as a number 10 or on the left wing. His versatility appears to have impressed the Gunners' coaching staff.

Kroupi is also attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich and it has been claimed that he is valued at around £100m.

The Cherries have no desire to part ways with their prized asset this winter, but could be tempted to do so if they receive anywhere close to £100m.
