Chelsea boss Avram Grant has welcomed his new number 2 Henk Ten Cate from Ajax and praised Henk for his duties at previous club Barcelona.
Grant said: "I am delighted that Henk has joined us as assistant first team coach and I want to welcome him," Grant told Chelsea's website. "Henk is well known from his time in Barcelona and other clubs, and I look forward to working with him as I have appreciated his work from the outside. Between him and Steve Clarke they have an important job to do at Chelsea."
Grant also revealed: "We will continue to try and improve. We are still looking for a fitness and goalkeeper coach and I am pleased with the progress and the help I am currently getting from the Academy in these areas."
