Maradona urges Aguero to join Real Madrid

Argentine legend Diego Maradona has urged Man City striker Sergio Aguero to one day join Spanish giants Real Madrid. Aguero swapped Atletico Madrid for Manchester City last summer in a mega money 45 million Euro move.

 • Aguero has gone on to prove to be one of the best players in the Premier League this year, as his side currently lead the Premier League table from nearest rivals Manchester United by five points.
His former international coach, Maradona, has suggested that moving to Manchester City was a huge mistake for the striker.
"Kun has to play for Real Madrid. If he signed for them, it would be his big break," Maradona said. "Even though he is flying at City, the best thing would have been to sign for Madrid. He made a mistake.
"Now, as he is doing so well, it will be difficult to get him from City. They will want to keep him. It's a question of convincing City, but not with money because they have plenty of that.
"If Kun was playing for Madrid they would close in further on Barcelona."
