Coleman: not talking to Bolton

Coleman: not talking to Bolton

21 October 2007 - 15:13

Real Sociedad boss Chris Coleman has commented on speculation linking him with the vacant Bolton post, and has said there has been no formal approach. However, Coleman admits he would be tempted to return to the Premier League.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Coleman is only a few months into a three-year contract with Sociedad.

"I signed a three-year contract with La Real (Sociedad), I said all along that the thing that would tempt me away from La Real would be the Premier League," Coleman said after the defeat to Gijon.

"But Bolton have to ask me to go to Bolton, this hasn't happened, and La Real have to say 'Okay, you can leave', and this hasn't happened.

"I understand the speculation but in the Premier League managers lose their jobs quickly in a season, and maybe in a month, or two months, there will be a different club with no manager, and maybe I'll be linked.

"I have seen the speculation, my name has been linked to Bolton, as have many names in England, but for me I am at La Real."
