Inter Milan have set a hefty asking price of £85 million for Arsenal target Pio Esposito, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Gunners had the Italian on their radar earlier this year. They made an enquiry to the Nerazzurri, but he was deemed not for sale.
Esposito recently penned a new long-term deal with the Serie A champions, but there is still speculation regarding his future at the club.
Despite the extension, there is an acceptance that Esposito could leave for the right price. At the moment, that valuation stands at £85m.
Inter believe his stock will only rise with the progress made, and Arsenal still face a huge challenge on their hands to prise him away.
The 21-year-old has been a regular starter in a front two for Inter this term, and he has already contributed two goals and two assists.
Arsenal continue to monitor his development closely and it remains to be seen whether they make a renewed proposal next summer.
