Adam Johnson set for Man City exit

09 April 2012 - 07:42

Manchester City winger Adam Johnson will be sold by the Citizens in the summer, as Roberto Mancini has grown frustrated with the youngster's erratic form. Johnson has struggled for first team minutes in recent months.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • Mancini said of the winger: "I'm not arguing with Adam because also Adam has a good talent, but also it's important he puts this on the pitch, this talent. Sometime he doesn't do this."

It is understood that Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill wants to make Johnson his big transfer this summer, and will spend up to 7.5 million GBP to secure the player's signature.
