Marian Kello to join Aston Villa

Out-of-contract goalkeeper Marian Kello is set to join Aston Villa as a replacement for Brad Guzan. The Slovakian international has not extended his contract with Hearts and agreed on an early termination of the contract by mutual consent.

In January, 2012, the 29-year old had turned down a move to Austria Wien even though Hearts agreed on a deal with the Austrian club. This led Hearts manager Paulo Sergio to drop him from the next match. Kello revealed that he had an offer from Celtic also.



Aston Villa had shown interest in signing the player lately, and is supposed to sign a pre-contract agreement with the player soon.
