28 May 2012 - 06:30

Wigan Athletic chairman David Whelan has been busy drawing up a shortlist of potential replacements for Roberto Martinez, who could complete a move to Liverpool this week.

 • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
 • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
 • Moniz has had a successful spell with Red Bull Salzburg, where the 47-year-old has enjoyed a successful spell in Austria.
In the past, Moniz worked closely with Fulham's current manager Martin Jol; as Moniz worked as a technical coach for Jol at Tottenham Hotspur.
Moniz is very highly rated across Europe, and is keen on a move to England.
