Hernanes denies Arsenal move talk

Hernanes denies Arsenal move talk

30 May 2012 - 05:32

Brazilian midfielder Hernanes has denied talk of a move from Lazio to Arsenal, despite Arsene Wenger's interest in the talented playmaker. The former Sao Paulo player has been previously linked with a move to the Emirates.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • Italian press reported that the midfielder would soon link up with Arsenal representatives to thrash out a transfer move to the Premier League.

"I have no arranged transfer. I also heard these rumours and I do not know the origins. But it's not true," Hernanes said.

"I have a physiotherapy session scheduled for today (Tuesday) and then tomorrow (Wednesday), I will leave for Brazil, but I will soon be back in Rome."
