Liverpool eye Henrikh Mkhitaryan move

08 November 2012 - 05:45

Liverpool have been linked with a mega money move for Armenian international midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Shakhtar Donetsk player has burst onto the scene this year in the Ukraine, and attracted the interest of some of Europe's biggest sides.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • So far this year the 23-year-old has already bagged 16 goals in 18 games, and now it appears that Liverpool's scouting network have recommended that the club make a move for the 5 foot 10 midfielder.

There would be no problem securing a move for the player as Mkhitaryan has already played 34 times for his country, but negotiating a fee for the midfielder could prove a potential stumbling block for the Reds.
