Arsenal have rekindled their interest in Argentinian left winger Ricardo Alvarez. The 24-year old has only managed seven appearances for Inter Milan this year, and the Italians are ready to sell the former Velez player.

The Gunners currently face a battle to keep England international Theo Walcott at the club, who is in the middle of discussions with Arsenal over a new contract.<br />

Alvarez could be available relatively cheap, with a six month loan an option for Arsenal with first option on a permanent move.<br />

Alvarez still has a contract at the San Siro until 2016.
