26 November 2012 - 05:53

Fulham manager Martin Jol remains confident that his club can secure the long term future of Norway international full back Brede Hangeland. The defender has been locked in contract talks with the Cottagers for over a year.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • "We are talking to [Hangeland]," he told the Fulham and Hammersmith Chronicle. "He knows what we've offered him is good so hopefully he will make a decision in the next month or so. We're optimistic."

Fulham's centre back is reportedly holding out for more than double his current salary at Craven Cottage.
