Zenden eyes Chelsea trophy haul

28 November 2012 - 06:29

Chelsea's new assistant manager Boudewijn Zenden is confident that the Blues can win an eagerly awaited Premier League title this year. Zenden has been appointed the assistant of new manager Rafa Benitez.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Benitez is the unpopular appointment as new head coach at Chelsea, and the Spaniard quickly brought in former Chelsea star Zenden as his number 2.

"We're battling for five prizes and in December we play for the Club World Cup. After that, we will see what happens," Zenden said.

"For me, this is a super chance to gain experience at the top level of coaching. I could never dream of it, so I'm ready to take my opportunity with both hands."
