Denilson to quit Arsenal for Sao Paulo move

Arsenal midfielder Denilson will quit the club permanently for a move to Sao Paulo. The Brazilian has endured a difficult time at the Emirates over the past two years, and now looks set to complete a permanent deal back to his homeland.

    “I believe we’ll reach an agreement with Arsenal,” Sao Paulo vice-president Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes told UOL.<br />

    “We have heard from Denilson that he doesn’t want to return to England, that he wants to stay here with us.<br />

    “I think our relations with Arsenal will help that to happen.”
